- Kansas State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
- The Professional Education Unit at Kansas State University is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE).
- The next review of the Professional Education Unit will take place in 2023 under standards by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
- The School Counseling and Counselor Education programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
