The College of Education Ambassadors is an organization focused on educating prospective students about the K-State College of Education programs and help to promote of the profession of teaching through various recruitment events hosted on and off campus. Ambassadors lead presentations, give tours of Bluemont Hall and talk to prospective students about the vast number of support avenues available to EDCATS. Applications are open in February, check your email in the start of the Spring semester for the opportunity to apply.

The student council for the College of Education is called the Education Council. It is composed of elected members, College of Education senators, and faculty advisors.
This organization is a peer mentorship initiative that will pair you with a student in the professional education program to provide you with a personal guide who can help you get connected as soon as you step foot on campus. The program also offers you the opportunity to interact with faculty and staff, fellow students, and resources in the College of Education and across campus.

Students in the teacher education program may join KNEA-SP. Members receive several monthly publications from the national and state offices. Members are also covered by liability insurance when they are in the schools observing or working with students.
Kappa Delta Pi – Iota Xi Chapter
Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education, fosters excellence in education and promotes fellowship among those dedicated to teaching.

This club supports Kansas agricultural education, including FFA, 4-H and Extension.

The purpose of CEC is to provide students with information and resources for teaching students with special needs. Meetings are held once a month.

NAfME Collegiate – National Association for Music Education
Open to all Music Education students at K-State. Benefits of membership include educational journals, networking, educational opportunities and supplementary memberships in other music-related groups. Meetings feature guest speakers of professionals in the field of Music Education. The group also puts on fundraisers, provides free tutoring for music classes and hosts Future Music Educator's Day for high school students interested in majoring in Music Education.
Family and Consumer Sciences Professional Interest Group
This interest group provides professional development opportunities and promotes the national theme of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.
