Faculty and Student Research
Faculty, staff and students in the college are actively engaged in research activities that contribute to the knowledge base of education endeavors related to our programs. These include teacher preparation, military-related students, distance education delivery, faculty multicultural competencies, college student self-efficacy and transnational identity development. The College of Education produces research that impacts K-20 students, teachers and other school personnel, faculty, policy-makers and researchers across the nation.
Information about specific faculty research interests can be found in departmental web pages. Several faculty discuss their research in video clips:
Kakali Bhattacharya, Associate Professor
Transnationalism and Higher Education
Lotta Larson, Associate Professor
Literacy and Technology
Students produce research during their graduate studies, which culminate in their dissertation research. Student research may be submitted for review for the Prairie Journal of Educational Research, a peer-reviewed online journal for student research.
