Buck Institute for Education
The Buck Institute offers online professional development, a handbook for teachers, online articles about how PBL works and the research and theory behind it, and examples of PBL model projects for different subjects and age levels for you to explore. Don't miss this site!

TAGLIT
According to the Taglit website, “Taking A Good Look at Instructional Technology (TAGLIT) is a suite of assessment tools designed to help principals and other school leaders gather, analyze, and report information about how technology is used for teaching and learning in their schools.”

Multimedia Mania
ISTE’s Special Interest Group on Hypermedia and Multimedia (HyperSIG) hosts an annual Multimedia Mania aware. This is the site for the competition.

INTEL’s Teach to the Future
This page is called “Learning with Technology: Discover Great Teaching Ideas.” There is a section on pre-K-12 unit plans designed by teachers in the “Teach to the Future” program. Of particular interest and relevance are the “It’s a Wild Ride” section, in which a roller coaster unit is used to help teach teachers know how to use PBL, and “Seeing Reason” which lets you try out a causal mapping tool and explore projects which use this tool.

  George Lucas Educational Foundation
This site offers an online version of the magazine Edutopia (also available in a print version). GLEF focuses on innovative classrooms, skillful educators, and involved communities. The PBL section gives you access to archived stories, movies, and interviews about projects that work. This is a great site and this foundation does a lot to support PBL.
