Manuscripts
must meet the standards and guidelines approved by the Publication Manual
of the American Psychological Association, 5th edition.
-
Submissions
should be no more than 5,000 words (approximately 20 double-spaced pages).
A descriptive abstract of no more than 100 words should also be included
as the manuscript's first page of text.
-
Submissions
may be made as an electronic enclosure or attachment, preferably in Word,
or an unpublished Web page.
-
Submissions
should be submitted to:
Mark Viner, Editor for 2002 issue.
Email address: mjv2387@ksu.edu
-
Submit
a 70 to 100-word author's profile. The profile must include author's name,
e-mail address, title, year in graduate school, and current academic interests.
The profile may be published as an accessory to the manuscript. The
profile should appear in a separate file for purposes of blind review.
-
All
submissions are reviewed by at least two members of the editorial board
and the faculty advisor. The reviewers will make recommendation to
the Editor to publish the manuscript as is, or to publish the manuscript
with suggested revisions, or to reject the manuscript for publication.
In all cases the author will be notified of the decision, and in the event
the manuscript is rejected, a summary of the reasons for that decision will
be forwarded.
-
If the
manuscript is accepted for publication, submit two copies of your manuscript
on a 3.5-inch diskette. Save the first copy in its native format and save
the second copy as a text document. On the diskette label indicate:
author's name, date of submission, word processor and file format used.
For example: Jane Doe; August 11, 2002; Microsoft Word 7 for Windows 95.
- Diagrams, tables, figures,
or other graphics, each must be placed in a separate file on the diskette
in JPEG or GIF format.
- The Editor reserves the
right to make minor changes in all manuscripts to improve clarity, to conform
to style, and to correct grammar.
