Undergraduate Programs and Certificates

Are you a current student who wants to change your major to Education? Change it right here!

Preparing educators to be knowledgeable, ethical, caring decision makers for a diverse and changing world.

Welcome to the College of Education at Kansas State University where we’ve been preparing teachers for more than 150 years. We are excited about what your future holds as you transition to life at K-State, and we are grateful you are considering our professional teacher education program. Many of our students tell us they always wanted to be a teacher while others tell us they were inspired to become a teacher – because of a teacher. That may be you someday.

Our college has assembled an experienced faculty, acquired the latest technology, and built professional connections across the state to create a robust educational experience for you and your classmates. What’s special about our program is all of the support and guidance you enjoyed as an undergraduate student goes with you through the Forever EdCats program as you transition from your collegiate career to your professional career. That’s what being a Wildcat is all about.

We deeply appreciate your interest in the college and the profession and look forward to seeing you as a student, and later as an alum. If you are interested in visiting us to learn more about the university and our programs, consider signing up for an Education Experience Day. For more information, please see our online EDCAT Experience brochure below. With purple pride,
