Masters Project Title:
GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR FIRST ONLINE CONFERENCING PROJECT.‎
Summary of Project:
Online courseware like WebCT and Blackboard is getting important in distance learning, but many educators still do not have such tools at their schools. This project first reviews and compares the functionalities provided by both WebCT and Blackboard, the two most
popular online courseware. The second half of the project is trying to find alternative tools for educators who do not have access to the modern online courseware like WebCT and Blackboard at their schools. The project reviews many synchronous and asynchronous tools on the Internet that achieve some similar functionalities as WebCT and Blackboard provide, and selects the best one for educators to use based on the following criteria
• Ease of Use
• Economical
• Nice User Interface
• Could be Use for Educational Purposes
• No Ads
