How can classroom instruction be enhanced to accommodate diverse learning styles? What are some ways to increase motivation and engagement of learners? What are some technology tools that empower the learner to share what they have learned with others? The answer to all of these questions and more can be found in this module on presentations.
The emergence of technology allows the creation of learning environments in which both the teacher and students have access to powerful information. The real task for the classroom teacher and the student is to develop strategies to construct new understandings and meanings from this information and then to design presentations or projects to most effectively share that knowledge with others.
This module includes information on a variety of technology tools that can be used to develop and deliver presentations including the scanner, digital camera, digital video, presentation software, laptops, and display devices. In addition, authentic classroom applications, highlighting presentations and projects utilizing these tools are included. Copyright and fair use information for teachers and students, as well as assessment strategies are also available in this module.
