Welcome to Project SOLVE... Making Learning Boundaryless.

The Kansas State University College of Education, the Center for Rural Education and Small Schools, the Kansas Regents Educational Communications Center in partnership with AT&T has developed this series of mediated technology experiences to improve the teaching and learning process through the effective use of technology.

Project SOLVE... Making Learning Boundaryless is a CD-ROM and web-based learning tool designed to provide easily accessible, self paced learning opportunities for teachers, especially those in rural and small school settings as they develop and enhance their skills to effectively integrate technology into their classroom and professional practice.

The National Educational Technology Standards (NETS)
, developed by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) was used as the framework for the design of the technology learning experiences within two modules:

· Communication and Collaboration
· Presentations

Each module allows the teacher to learn about technology including the selection and skillful use of the technical tools, classroom applications and tips with classroom video clips, assessment strategies, and reflection opportunities for teachers and students. The goal of each module is to allow the teacher to go beyond the technical use of the technology tools to a full exploration of the teaching/learning issues related to successful integration of the tools into the classroom to enhance student learning.
