International Society for Technology in Education

The International society for Technology in Education, often referred to as ISTE, is a non-profit professional organization "dedicated to promoting appropriate uses of information technology to support and improve learning, teaching and administration in K- 12 education and teacher education."

The technology standards define goals for integrating curriculum technology, technology support, student assessment and evaluation of technology use by students, teachers and administration.

The information located on the ISTE web site are the standards for teachers. We invite you to explore other sections of this web site to view student standards and additional classroom resources.
