


The International society for Technology in Education, often referred to as
ISTE, is a non-profit professional organization "dedicated to promoting
appropriate uses of information technology to support and improve learning,
teaching and administration in K- 12 education and teacher education."
The technology standards define goals for integrating curriculum technology, technology
support, student assessment and evaluation of technology use by students, teachers
and administration.
The information located on the ISTE web site are the standards for teachers.
