Online Master's Degree Program
Adult and Continuing Education

The Adult and Continuing Education degree program is geared toward working professionals whose careers involve working with adults in educational and training situations. The online students may complete the Master of Adult Education and any of the three Graduate Certificate programs (Adult Learning, Leadership Dynamics, and Teaching English as a Second Language for Adult Learners).

To complete the program, students must complete 33 credit hours and a cumulative portfolio due the semester during which they are completing their final coursework. Of these 33 credit hours, 18 are required and 15 are electives. The 15 elective hours may be earned through the Graduate Certificates, a selection of Adult Education electives offered online, or a complimentary online certificate program, where students are allowed to specialize in a subject matter. K-State has a unique opportunity for those who are interested in career specialization. Please visit the K-State Global Campus Certificate Programs page to see the options available in addition to the three adult education Graduate Certificates.
